I'm Vera Cubero, founder of Cubero Consulting and a 29-year veteran of public education with deep experience at the school, district, and state levels. Most recently, I led North Carolina's AI implementation efforts and served as the primary architect of the state's AI Guidelines—recognized nationally as among the best in the country by leaders like Sal Khan (Khan Academy), Pat Youngpradit (Code.org), and Amanda Bickerstaff (AI for Education).
I am leaving public education after almost 30 years, and now I bring that expertise directly to you as an independent consultant.

An interactive and engaging 2-hour workshop session, allowing some hands-on time for participants practice new skills, techniques and technologies.

An interactive and engaging 3-hour workshop session provides ample time for participants to engage with and explore the technology so they leave ready to learn and progress independently.
Full Day Custom Combo

Customize your own full day training menu of up to six hours active time to allow users time for deeper learning and hands-on engagement so they leave ready to implement their knowledge in their practice. Sessions may be customized for different audiences in your organization.
Virtual Options:
While Face-to=Face training is generally preferable, virtual sessions can be engaging, interactive, and impactful as well, and can be a more cost effective option because they do not require travel time or travel-associated costs.
The success of virtual sessions depends on active, engaged participation from virtual attendees.
To ensure success, provide two way visibility and sound for in person groups and require virtual attendees to keep cameras on and engage with the session.
Virtual sessions will be recorded, and client will have access to the recording for on demand viewing or sharing within the organization (for organizational, non-commercial use only).
**Travel Fees for Face-to-Face training sessions:
Travel costs will be added to the base rates for face-t0-face training above, including mileage and/or airfare from Brevard, NC, meals, and reasonable hotel accommodations and will vary depending on location.
